Suffolk Whole Hog 2019

Time to dust off those trainers and wet suits again as we get ready for the 2019 Suffolk Whole Hog mud run.

The 5 or 7 Mile (Boss Hog) races based in Wantisden, Nr Woodbridge, Suffolk feature many challenging obstacles from sliding into smelly bogs to crawling in dark tunnels. Rest assured there is plenty for all to enjoy and overcome!

Such an amazing and fun day and Mayday are proud once again to sponsor this great race. We may even have a few of our experienced hoggers on the course to keep you on your trotters, that being said some need to sort out their pork belly’s first!

Mayday Mudders go “The Whole Hog”

Ready to take on “The Boss Hog”

It’s that time of the year when the weather starts to turn as we come into Autumn, the leaves are turning shades of red and gold, there’s a brisk chill in the air and once again “The Mayday Mudders” get ready to lace up their boots and take on the “Suffolk Whole Hog”.

This year the team are set to run the gruelling 7 mile course encountering over 35 insane obstacles from cargo nets, wading through freezing water to jumping hay bales. The races which begin on October 14th will be run by Mayday’s very own pure bread team of athletes consisting of: Adam Northcut, Calvin Craske, Kile Oakley, Paul Wilson and Nathan Gray who are keen and ready to take on the “Boss Hog” 2018.

Lets wish them the best of luck and give them a cheer at the finish.

Below are a few snapshots of what you can expect on the day.

Mayday Mudders Finish The Suffolk Whole Hog

After slugging it in the heat, stinking of sewage and covered in more mud than you can imagine, our troops managed to make it through another year of the Suffolk Whole Hog, completing the “Boss Hog” race in 1hr 40min. The boys only made it out with a few scrapes and a few sore muscles.

Once again a massive thanks to Eight Point Two and The Suffolk Whole Hog for putting on this great team building event with lots of laughs on the way.

If you fancy joining the race and trying to beat our score visit: https://wholehograces.co.uk/

You can expect to be crawling (under cargo nets), climbing (up steep banks and walls), wading through rivers (never swimming), tunnels, slides, jumps, swings and monkey bars…
