GoGoHaero Sells for £4200!

Haero Irresistible to Bidders!

Last night Mayday attended the end of trail auction for the GoGoHares 2018, we watched as so many buyers placed bids on their favourite Hare from the many displayed all around Norwich and Norfolk sponsored by local businesses in support of Break Charity and to help “Change Young Lives”.

Mayday’s GoGoHare for 2018 “Haero” designed by Artist Claire Cassie was placed in last nights auction with the final bid reaching an outstanding £4200 bumping up the total amount raised by Break Charity reaching an astonishing: £409,600!

Once again a massive thanks to everyone who supported and visited “GoGoHaero” throughout the summer, it’s always great to be part of such an amazing and unique way to raise money for a well deserved charity and make a difference in the community.

Give “Haero” a shout out on Twitter and let him know how proud we are!

Mayday Mudders go “The Whole Hog”

Ready to take on “The Boss Hog”

It’s that time of the year when the weather starts to turn as we come into Autumn, the leaves are turning shades of red and gold, there’s a brisk chill in the air and once again “The Mayday Mudders” get ready to lace up their boots and take on the “Suffolk Whole Hog”.

This year the team are set to run the gruelling 7 mile course encountering over 35 insane obstacles from cargo nets, wading through freezing water to jumping hay bales. The races which begin on October 14th will be run by Mayday’s very own pure bread team of athletes consisting of: Adam Northcut, Calvin Craske, Kile Oakley, Paul Wilson and Nathan Gray who are keen and ready to take on the “Boss Hog” 2018.

Lets wish them the best of luck and give them a cheer at the finish.

#MyBreak50 Anniversary Skydive

Kile Oakley – Break Charity Skydive

This past September saw one of our brave team members take the challenge of jumping out of a plane for Break Charity’s #MyBreak50 Anniversary. The skydive took place on Beccles Airfield, Suffolk in partnership with UK Parachuting two miles above ground level.

Kile Oakley, who works part of Mayday’s connectivity and installation team decided he would be up for the challenge and successfully raised £300 in aid of this great charity. All together raising £3000 to help “change young lives”.

Mayday works close with Break providing them with printing solutions, previous “Wild In Art” projects such as GoGoDragons and this years GoGoHares with our very own “GoGoHearo” which was displayed at the Chapplefield shopping complex in Norwich City centre.
